Brief: Enhance visual
impact and focus whilst hiding views behind the back wall and create
an outside reception room with an Italian feel.
Achievement: By designing a strong ground pattern and
a very formal planting style, the view is automatically drawn to the
garden. The use of tall slim conifers, clipped hedges and raised borders
(reference to terraces) with light gravel and natural stone gives an
Italian feel.
